The slightly longer version...
As a former physician, I now spend my days writing books, reading books, and working at a library where I’m surrounded by books. I live in Madison, WI with my husband, two daughters, a plethora of dust bunnies, and one incredibly lazy cat.
10 random things about me you probably don't care about...
- Having lived in Wisconsin for most of my life, I’m a huge Brewer fan, Packer fan, and Badger volleyball fan. I’ve never worn a cheesehead, but I wouldn’t be opposed to the idea.
- I love traveling. The further away, the better. My #1 bucket list travel destination: EGYPT!!
- When I was in elementary school I wanted to become an astronaut.
- I love the TV show The Great British Baking Show. I have no idea why.
- I LOVE volleyball and used to coach a middle school team!
- I HATE the cold. Which makes Wisconsin winters super fun.
- I’m terrified of heights. And swimming suits.
- I love silly, G-rated jokes. My favorite: Why didn’t the toilet paper cross the road? It was stuck in a crack!
- My first “real” job was running the teleprompter at a local TV station.
- My favorite animal: the red panda. They’re so cute!
